The Bollywood star's name figures in the voter list of Ghughri village which falls under Pathalgaon Assembly constituency. The accompanying photo makes it clear that it is not some namesake, but Mrs Abhishek Bachchan herself, Jashpur Collector L S Ken said today.
According to the voters' list of polling station No. 15, Aishwarya Rai is 23 years old, and stays in house No. 376 in the village. Her father is purportedly one Dinesh Rai, the collector said.
Prima facie it appeared to be a prank, he said.
