"Ajay compliments me when I am exceptionally stunning and many times I don't even know that I am looking stunning and he would say you are looking nice," Kajol told reporters here.
"I believe that I am beautiful even today. It took me a long time to believe that. So, my beliefs about myself have changed and I think I am a better person today. I have grown hopefully," she added.
The 42-year-old actress revealed that one of the most important beauty regime which she gives her daughter Nysa is to drink adequate amount of water.
When it comes to beauty the "Dilwale" actress looks up to her mother Tanuja, a veteran actress.
"I would like to look like my mother when I am her age she doesn't look one bit of her age," she added.
According to Kajol, beauty is something that is just in the eyes.
