Ajit Balaji Joshi appointed new DC of Chandigarh

2003-batch Haryana cadre IAS officer Ajit Balaji Joshi has been appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner of Chandigarh.
Haryana Government has placed the services Ajit Balaji Joshi at the disposal of Chandigarh Administration for appointment as Deputy Commissioner, Chandigarh, with immediate effect, an official release said here today.
Joshi is currently posted as Deputy Commissioner in Jind.
In April, UT-cadre IAS officer SB Deepak Kumar was given the charge of the Chandigarh's Deputy Commissioner as a stop-gap arrangement after 2002 batch Haryana IAS officer, Mohammed Shayin, was repatriated by his parent cadre.
