Akai launches new range of LED TVs, washing machines, ACs

Consumer electronics brand Akai, which has re-entered the Indian market through its licensee Hometech Digital, has launched its new range of LED TVs, washing machines and air conditioners.
In the TV category, products are priced at Rs 12,990 onwards, while the washing machine range starts from Rs 10,990. The AC range starts from Rs 22,990.
"All our products are developed as per latest Japanese technology standard and offer high value to customers," Akai India Director Anurag Sharma said.
Hometech Digital is a Paras Group company and has brand rights of Akai for the Indian market and SAARC countries.

L'Oreal appoints Roshni Wadhwa HR Director for India ops * French beauty major L'Oreal today appointed Roshni Wadhwa Human Resources Director for L'Oreal India.

Wadhwa as earlier the Human Resources Director for L'Oreal Singapore.
She has taken over from Mohit James, who has been appointed South Asia HR Director and APAC HRD for L'Oreal's Professional Products and Active Cosmetics Divisions, a company statement said.
"The appointment of Roshni takes the percentage of women on the leadership team of L'Oreal India to 33 per cent," it added.
