The 49-year-old actor took to Twitter to announce the release date and share his first look from the film.
"And here is the first look of #JollyLLB2 as promised. Ready to meet this Jolly good fellow on 10th February 2017," wrote Akshay.
The movie is directed by Subhash Kapoor, who also helmed the first installment that released in 2013.
Actress Huma Qureshi, who is playing the female lead in the film, also made the announcement.
"Ye dekhooooo .... #JollyLLB2 is coming 10th Feb !!! Whistle whistle @akshaykumar @foxstarhindi @subkapoor," she tweeted.
