Alexandra Breckenridge joins 'The Walking Dead'
Breckenridge has been cast as a bohemian young mother named Samantha, reported Deadline.
Samantha is described as being strong-willed with a vulnerable side. Breckenridge's deal with AMC has the flexibility to make her a member of the main cast.
The actress is best known for appearing in both 'American Horror Story: Murder House' and 'American Horror Story: Coven'.
She has also lent her voice to more than 50 episodes of Family Guy as various characters, and portrayed Katerina in True Blood.
'The Walking Dead' will soon debut Seth Gilliam in the role of Father Gabriel Stokes.
