Algerian carrying live cartridge sentenced to one-year RI
The Algerian citizen Nehar Raiban was awarded the sentence by Civil Judge Class I, Mahesh Kumar Jha.
Nehar had arrived at Khajuraho to visit the world famous temples. While leaving the city, he was caught by the security personnel at the airport with a live cartridge in his belongings. Later, he was arrested and produced in the court for trial.
Police had earlier seized his passport and informed the Algerian embassy about it.
