Singer Alice Cooper hates having a mobile phone and finds himself losing his at least twice a day.
The 'Poison' hitmaker, 67, started his rock career at a time when people were free of electronic devices and mobile telephones were a feature of science fiction and has now said he hates being tied down to his, which is why he misplaces it every single day, reported Female First.
"I lose my phone probably twice a day and it's because I really don't like it. I don't like the idea that you're locked into this thing which your whole world revolves around."
Cooper, however, accepts he can't get away without actually having a phone because his wife Sheryl Goddard, whom he has been married to since 1976 and has three grown-up children with, would be left wondering where he is all the time.
He only carries a basic device as he doesn't need it for anything other than making calls.
"I just carry a little flip-phone to call my wife and kids or my road manager," he said.
