The case against Lamba was registerd at Kashmere Gate police station under Sections 451 (trespass), 427(mischief causing damage), 186 (deter public servant from official duty) on a complaint of traders, including the proprietor of a sweet shop, Shiv Mishthan Bhandar, from where the alleged stone-pelting was done, said a senior police officer.
Police said that a CCTV camera footage recovered from the shop showed Lamba pushing the billing machine while her accomplice turning the table and jostling with cops who tried to stop them.
She was injured after being hit by a stone allegedly thrown by one of the shop employees Jitin, police said.
He was later arrested by the police on a complaint by Lamba. She also alleged later that the shop belonged to BJP MLA O P Sharma, who has refuted the allegation.
