"The Congress had won 12 out a total of 29 Lok Sabha seats from Madhya Pradesh and we hope that this tally will be increased," the MP state Congress president told reporters at his first press conference after assuming office.

Answering a question, he said that a decision on whether or not he would contest the Lok Sabha elections would be taken by Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi.
