All departments of Haryana government will have to identify five key performance indicators (KPIs) which will be monitored by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, an official spokesperson said today.
"Chief Secretary D S Dhesi has directed all departments to identify five KPIs which would be monitored by the Chief Minister," the spokesman said.
Presiding over the meeting on 'Digital Haryana Initiatives' here, Deshi said as many as 500 Common Service Centres (CSCs) are to be made operational by March 2015 and 1,000 more by March 2016 which would enable citizens to obtain government services right from villages itself.
"100 per cent Aadhaar enrolment would be ensured in all districts. Revenue/IT departments and Deputy Commissioners would ensure compliance of the same," he said.
All officials in CSCs besides village-level entrepreneurs (VLEs) were trained for Aadhaar enrolment and provided Aadhaar machines, through loan under Prime Minister's Employment Guarantee Programme (PMEGP).
In view of large Aadhaar enrolment pending population of mainly age group 0-6, the Chief Secretary directed to organise special campaign village-wise with aid of Anganwari workers and schools, the spokesman said.
"As per Chief Minister's direction that broadband connectivity should be provided through National Optical Fiber Network (NOFN) in 4000 villages in the state before September 30, 2015 and in remaining villages before March 31, 2016," he said.
