Allahabad HC fixes new date for hearing PIL against 'holiday

The Allahabad High Court today fixed April 28 as the next date of hearing on a PIL alleging "holiday politics' in Uttar Pradesh.
A division bench of justices Dinesh Maheshwari and Ritu Raj Awasthi here passed the order on the PIL filed on April 20 alleging that "holiday politics" was being played in Uttar Pradesh for the last few years by the state governments.
On behalf of the state government, it was argued that the PIL was not maintainable.
The bench fixed April 28 as the next date of hearing on the maintainability of the PIL.
