Alleged attack attempted at musician duo Run the Jewels

A man allegedly attempted to hit rapper duo Run the Jewels onstage during their performance in Austin.
Rapper-music producer El-P, who founded the group, and rapper Killer Mike were performing a song during their set at Spotify House when an unknown man appeared on the stage and tried to hit them, reported Ace Showbiz.
Mike saw the man and intercepted him before he reportedly assaulted El-P. Some people of their team later jumped on the stage and helped remove the invader who then apparently hit random people in the audience before getting knocked to the ground by a security member.

Following the incident, Run the Jewels continued the show. According to a concert goer, El-P told the crowd, "We have no idea what that was."
Later in the day, El-P took to Twitter to thank everyone attending their gig and apologise for the "brief interruption.
