Alleged drug peddler arrested, 30 kgs of narcotics seized

Over 30 kilogrammes of narcotic substance were seized from a house in Kashmir Valley's Pulwama district and an alleged drug peddler was arrested in this connection, police said today.
Acting on a tip off, a police party raided the house of Muzaffar Ahmad Hajam in village Larve Kakapora and seized 19 kgs of bung patri, 11 kgs of poppy straw and 950 gms of charas powder, they said.
The house owner was arrested and a case under the NDPS Act registered against him, police said.
