A total of 133 officers of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) have been allocated Telangana cadre, whereas 161 have been given Andhra Pradesh cadre, a gazette notification issued by the Centre said.
As many as 95 officers of Indian Police Service (IPS) have been given Telangana cadre and 116 have got Andhra Pradesh. Similarly, 58 officers of Indian Forest Service (IFS) have got Telangana and 69 AP cadre, it said.
The allocation of the three all India services officers is based upon the recommendations of a six-member committee led by former Central Vigilance Commissioner Pratyush Sinha.
The Ministries of Personnel, Home and Environment have issued a list mentioning the names, batch and cadre for IAS, IPS and IFS officers, respectively.
Telangana, the country's 29th state, came into existence on June 2 last year and started functioning from that day. It was bifurcated from Andhra Pradesh.
