ALTBalaji inks pact with Micromax for exclusive content

ALTBalaji, the digital platform of Balaji Telefilms, today said it has tied-up with homegrown handsets maker Micromax, to help its users get access to exclusive ALTBalaji content.
The company yesterday announced its foray into the digital entertainment space with ALTBalaji.
As part of the tie-up, Micromax smartphones will come pre-loaded with the ALTBalaji application.
Commenting on the agreement, ALT Digital Media Entertainment CEO, Nachiket Pantvaidya said: "With this partnership, we will take our repository of original shows, exclusively available on ALTBalaji to the urban masses.

Hyderabad-based Sagar Cements today said that it has changed the name of its subsidiary BMM Cements to Sagar Cements (R)Ltd.

"The name of our wholly-owned subsidiary BMM Cements Ltd has been changed as Sagar Cements (R) Ltd with effects from March 28, 2017," the company said in a BSE notification.

It had acquire BMM Cements three years before at an enterprise value of Rs 540 crore with limestone reserves.

Jewellery maker Fiona Solitaires today expanded its presence in India by launching its twelfth store here today.
The company, which opened its first store in the national capital, plans to open three more stores this year at an investment of Rs 5 crore per store.
"Our success in India from our stores is evident with the positive response we have received from our customers, and we will take this opportunity to repeat the same experience by inaugurating our first store in New Delhi," Fiona Solitaires MD Parag Agarwal said.
