Alternative to Congress in Haryana on anvil: Ramdev

Yoga guru Ramdev today said a forceful alternative to the ruling Congress in Haryana was on the anvil.
"The masses and opposition parties in the state are determined to get rid of the misrule of the Congress.
"Therefore, an alliance of opposition parties which will be an effective alternative to the Congress is on the anvil in the state," Ramdev said.
He himself was playing a role in this regard, the yoga guru told a press conference at Gurukul Ashram in Ghaseda village here.
Total independent functioning of CBI, CVC, CAG, the Election Commission and establishment of a Lokpal were sine qua non for the nation, he said.

Bringing back black money stashed in foreign banks was also need of the hour, Ramdev said.
BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi had the ability to fulfil all such promises, he said.
On Congress' apparent discomfiture regarding singer Lata Mangeshkar praising Modi, Ramdev said "this can be compared to a state of perverted mind that can only think of destructive things.
