Fadnavis, who laid the foundation stone for the new administration building of the varsity, said that since Nagpur was being developed into a smart city, the building being constructed should be equipped with wi-fi and be a paperless office.
Well-known industrialist Rahul Bajaj, who donated Rs 10 crore towards the proposed building, was present on the occasion along with Vice-Chancellor Dr Siddharth Kane.
Fadnavis said that since he had completed his graduation at this varsity, he would like to repay that debt by helping it build a grand convocation hall.
The construction of the 'E' shaped administration building is expected to be completed within two years.
