'Easy A' actress Aly Michalka has boarded the television adaptation of DC Comics' 'iZombie'.
Michalka will replace Alexandra Krosney, who appeared as Peyton in the pilot of the series.
Peyton is the roommate and best friend of leading character Liv (Rose McIver), who will be played by the 25-year-old on a recurring basis, reported Ace Showbiz.
Liv is a medical student-turned-zombie in the series, which is created by Rob Thomas of 'Veronica Mars' fame.
Michalka's recent roles include 'Two and a Half Men' in the role of Brooke and The CW's short-lived 'Hellcats'.
The sci-fi project was ordered to series by The CW back in May.
