Amarinder to address Cong workers in Jalandhar on July 1

Congress Deputy Leader Amarinder Singh will address workers meeting in Jalandhar Cant tomorrow as part of his state-wide mass contact programme.
Disclosing this here today, senior party leader Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa said, Capt Amarinder will arrive here from Patiala and he will straightway drive to the venue of the meeting being organised by Jagbir Brar.
He said all the local leaders and workers of Jalandhar and surrounding areas will be attending the workers meeting. Later, Capt Amarinder will also hold interaction with the leaders and workers.
Bajwa said that this is the first in a series of 12 workers' meetings being organised across Punjab beginning tomorrow, which will be addressed by the former Chief Minister to highlight the "failures" of the Akali-BJP government.
He expressed confidence that the programmes will generate momentum and boost the morale of the rank and file of the Congress party.
