Around 100 players from Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Jammu and Kashmir are expected to take part in the two-day event, GAAP president B B Prasad, who is also the Chief Commissioner of Customs, Central Excise and Service Tax (Hyderabad Zone), told reporters.
The tournament will be held at Boulder Hills Golf and Country Club in Gachibowli here and played on Stroke Play for three categories in 0-7, 8-12 and 13-18, he said.
Four players from category 0-7 will be selected to represent Andhra Pradesh in the inter-state national championship for 2014, he said.
