After piloting similar projects in Mumbai, e-commerce giant Amazon India on Thursday said it has launched a pick-up kiosk at the Sealdah Railway Station here.
The company has entered into a collaboration with Eastern Railway for the project, it said in a statement.
"Sealdah station will enable the company to provide a secure and convenient delivery option for Amazon customers, who want to pick up their parcels while communting," Amazon India said.
Eastern Railway CPRO Nikhil Chakraborty said the kiosk will help customers pick up their orders conveniently.
In 2019, Amazon India had piloted such kiosks at four railway stations in Mumbai.
