Amelio Childcare inks pact with CSC to set up onsite facility

Child care solutions provider Amelio Childcare has inked a pact with global IT services firm Computer Sciences Corporation to set up an onsite childcare facility in the city.
Amelio Childcare has struck a five year deal with CSC for setting up of an onsite childcare facility within the CSC campus at Madras Economic Processing Zone, Tambaram," a company statement said.
Amelio Childcare would offer pre-school, day care and post school solutions to around 35 children under the age of one year. The facility set up at CSC's campus would be equipped with exclusive infant rooms, classrooms with surveillance cameras along with a kitchen, it said.

"The setting up of onsite childcare facility is expected to provide a lot of comfort and relief to working mothers, allowing them to focus on work and grow within the organisation," Amelio Childcare, Director, Raghavan Jawahar said on the tie-up.
Amelio would undertake a theme based approach among the children, exposing them to various age appropriate activities taking care of all aspects of a child's early development, it said.
According to Amelio Childcare, Co-Founder and CEO, Sridevi Raghavan the company is in discussion with other IT and BPO companies to set up such onsite childcare facilities.
