Allahabad High Court had on Wednesday granted bail to Anant, who was arrested last month in connection with the killing of a constable, Vijay Kumar Mishra, in September last year over a property dispute related to the ownership of Bhupati Bhawan.
Anant was arrested from the Bhawan, ownership of which is being claimed by several people of the Amethi's royal family.
