Ameti administration to prepare status of Waqf boards' assets

The Uttar Pradesh government has asked the district administration here to prepare the status of all the assets related to Shia and Sunni Central Waqf Boards within a week.
The authorities of four tehsils in the district--Amethi, Gauriganj, Tioli and Musafirkhana--have to gather the three points based information which includes real number of assets, controversial assets and the ongoing cases, if any, in courts.
District Magistrate, Amethi, Yogesh Kumar has ordered the sub divisional magistrates of the four tehsils in the district to gather the required information within a week.
The district magistrate's office has said that the sub divisional magistrates would have to face stern departmental action if they fail to do so.
