The 71-year-old actor said their next with Balki is once again a unique story.
It will also mark south star Dhanush's second Hindi film after the success of 'Raanjhana' and the debut of Kamal Haasan's younger daughter Akshara.
R Balki, me on again for the next film, a unique story as is the norm with him, and working with Dhanush and Akshara, Kamal's daughter," Bachchan tweeted.
Dhanush had earlier tweeted his excitement.
"Yes guys, my next Hindi film is with Balki sir. Very excited and eagerly looking forward to it, thanks for all your wishes," Dhanush wrote.
"Privileged to share screen space with Big B himself. Ecstatic to be part of Raja Sir's musical again. Finally, a chance to work with P C sir!," wrote Dhanush, who had famously dedicated his hit number 'Kolaveri Di' to Bachchan.
Dhanush is reportedly also reuniting with 'Raanjhana' director Anand L Rai for a future project.
