Out of these cities, around 90 per cent of the task pertaining to collect Consumer Application Forms (CAFs) and entry of consumer details in Subscriber Management Systems (SMS) in 23 cities, including both cities of the state has been completed, TRAI Regional Advisor R D Arya said here today referring to a circular of the TRAI Secretary.
Multi System Operators (MSO) operating in these identified cities will now ensure that after January 27, TV signals (digital encrypted) are transmitted to only those subscribers whose CAFs have been collected and complete details are available in the SMS.
