The top cop also discussed with various representatives of software companies issues concerning providing security to women employees.
"Issues on providing security in IT corridor, traffic, counter-terrorism measures came up for discussion," Prasada Rao told reporters after the meeting.
The DGP said he also discussed with officials about the preparedness of police force in tackling issues relating to agitations over proposed Telangana state and means to handle resultant law and order situation.
A proposal on setting up a command call centre to keep track of cabs in which woman employees travel from their office and other places and related issues also came up for discussion in the meeting.
