The mishap occurred on the National Highway-16 near NAD junction while the bus was heading towards Rajam of Srikakulam from Vijayawada with 41 passengers, said Assistant Commissioner of Police (Traffic) K Prabhakar.
26 passengers sustained injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital and conditions of three of them was stated to be critical, the officer said.
A case has been registered and a probe was on, he said.
