SREI Infra is likely to provide support to the state in this regard and help it in financing too, a government release said.
The issue was discussed at a meeting between Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Chairman and Managing Director of SREI Infra Hemanth Kanoria.
"Infrastructure, irrigation, agriculture and R&B departments will be part of this group and work with SREI. This will help us in saving time without scouting for players every time we need equipment for works in the state," the release quoted Naidu as saying.
The Chief Minister was informed that the passenger traffic in Andhra Pradesh rose 43 per cent since April while the all-India growth stood at 18 per cent.
