Mushtaque Ahmed Muhammed Ishaque is third accused to get bail in the case. There are in all 22 accused, including alleged Laskkar-e-Toaiba operative and key plotter of 26/11 terror strikes Sayed Zabiuddin Ansari alias Abu Jundal.
"Ishaque was granted bail yesterday on the ground of parity after we argued that the Bombay High court recently granted bail to two accused who were arrested for similar role in this case," said advocate Shahid Nadeem.
Advocate Nadeem said that Ishaque was granted bail on a cash bond of Rs 50,000 and with a condition that he will attend the court hearing regularly.
Jundal, who was driving Indica, escaped and later fled to Pakistan via Bangladesh.
The special MCOCA court on August 17 last year framed charges against the 22 arrested accused.
