Another suspected case of coronavirus reported from U'khand

A China-returned student was on Monday admitted to AIIMS, Rishikesh for showing symptoms of coronavirus infection.

The 24-year-old woman was doing internship from the University of Traditional Medicine, Nonchang state in China, hospital PRO Harish Thapliyal said.

She was kept at the isolation ward of the hospital after she complained ofa sore throat, dry cough and headache, he said.

Her blood samples have been sent to the National Institute of Virology in Pune, the official said.

This is the second suspected case of coronavirus reported from the state. The other suspected patient has tested negative for the infection, Thapliyal said.
