"The personnel of CRPF, Jharkhand Jaguar, the Jharkhand Armed Police and the district police of Khunti, Simdega, Gumla, Ranchi, and West Singhbhum districts are continuing anti-naxal operation from January 8," Khunti Superintendent of Police Anis Gupta told PTI here.
The operation will continue till extremism is rooted out in the areas of the bordering districts and the supremo of the People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI), Dinesh Gope, is nabbed, the SP added.
Three alleged activists of the PLFI----Raj Kumar Gope, Jaiprakash Bhuyan and Ranjit Pradhan----have surrendered during the operation, Gupta said.
