Anytime Fitness to open 40 new centres by 2015

Health club chain Anytime Fitness will invest Rs 75 crore to open 40 new centres across the country by the end of the next year.
Anytime Fitness, which entered India in 2012 with its first centre in Delhi, currently has 10 fitness centres in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Dimapur(Nagaland) and Bhuj (Gujrat). The new centres will be based on franchise model.
"Most brands are taking franchise route for penetrating markets pan-India. We also look forward to go the same model. Rs 75 crore of investment is required via franchise route to open 40 centre by the end of calender year 2015," Any Time Fitness India Managing Director Vikas Jain told PTI.
New centres will come up in in metro cities as well as tier II and III cities such as Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmadabad, Surat, Lucknow, Nagpur, Pune, Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Guwahati and Vishakhapatnam.
The company said that its USP is that its the late night gym and is open is open in wee hours of the day till late night.
The US-based health chain is present in 19 countries including United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, New Zealand, Canada and Mexico. It has over 2,500 fitness centres across the world.
