AP Congress expresses solidarity with Manmohan Singh

Andhra Pradesh Congress today came out in support of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who has been summoned as an accused in a coal scam case by a special court.
Party leaders and activists took out a procession to express solidarity with the two-term Prime Minister, who also held the coal portfolio of when a coal block in Odisha was allotted to Hindalco in 2005.
APCC spokesperson K Shivaji later said Singh is known for his integrity and honesty and the entire Congress party stands behind him in the wake of the summons.
