AP's chief secy calls on Goswami

Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary I Y R Krishna Rao today called on Union Home Secretary Anil Goswami and discussed about the implementation of assurances made in the AP Reorganisation Act.
According to a press release of the Andhra Pradesh Information Centre here, Rao also discussed about the division of assets and liabilities between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana as per the act.
Rao also met Higher Education Secretary Satyanarayan Mohanty and talked about the progress of establishing seven institutions assured in the act, the release said.
In a meeting with Additional Principal Secretary to Prime Minister P K Mishra, he sought release of funds for rehabilitation work after Cyclone Hudhud to be expedited.

It may be recalled that Cyclone Hudhud, that struck north coastal Andhra Pradesh on October 12, left nearly 50 people dead and caused an estimated loss of about Rs 60,000 crores.
