ARLI names Gopalakrishnan as MD, CEO

Private insurer AEGON Religare Life Insurance (ARLI) today announced the appointment of K S Gopalakrishnan as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.
Prior to taking charge, Gopalakrishnan was the Executive Director of the company, ARLI said in a release issued here.
Gopalakrishnan has over 25 years of experience in the life insurance industry across markets such as India, Canada and Hong Kong.
He has been associated with different start-ups life insurance projects in India and abroad.
ARLI is a joint venture between global life insurance, pension and asset management firm AEGON, India's leading diversified financial services groups Religare and country's largest media conglomerate Bennett, Coleman & Company.
