Several arms and ammunition were recovered from a house during a raid at Atghara in Nadia district, the police said.
Acting on an information, police raided the area under Kalyani police station and recovered two firearms and 36 cartridges of various weapons from the house of one Arun Mondal on Monday, Superintendent of Police Nadia Rupesh Kumar said.
Mondal was arrested.
