Army chief General Bipin Rawat today reviewed operational preparedness and security situation in the valley and Kargil region during his visit to Jammu and Kashmir, the army said.
The Army chief visited Kargil Sector and Srinagar today, an Army official said.
He said Gen Rawat reviewed the operational preparedness and the security situation in the valley and Kargil, and in Ladakh region of the state.
The Army chief complimented all ranks of the army for their unwavering dedication, selfless devotion and high morale, the official said.
