"Tiger Division today, as part of national celebrations to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of victory of 1965 war over Pakistan, organised audio-visual presentation-cum-exhibition for students of Army Public School, Miran Sahib and their parents who reside in the border region of R S Pura Sector in Jammu," Defence PRO Lt Col Manish Mehta said.
The presentation-cum-exhibition, which was attended by 100 children and 75 parents, showcased Indian Army's saga of valour, he said.
"The event inspired the students and also educated their parents about the glorious traditions of Indian Army," Lt Col Mehta said.
The Western Command Headquarters had planned a series of events to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1965 war.
