The BSF troops guarding the IB in Border Out Post (BoP) Abdullian in R S Pura sector of Jammu district saw a boy crossing fence from below yesterday, a senior BSF officer said.
As he reached the centre of three-tier fencing, alert BSF troops arrested him, he said, adding that he was later questioned.
During questioning, he identified himself as 15-year-old Rizwan, son of Amin Ali Comma of village Mehdi Khan, Darif Wala district, Pakistan.
"For the last 3 years, he has been traveling along with a dance troupe performing at various places in Pakistan including border areas. He was deliberately trying to cross the border for better options", BSF officer said.
As per the decision taken in DG Level talks, Pak Rangers were informed and the boy was handed over today evening, he added.
