Around 10 lakh expected for vedic ritual Somayagam

: Around 10 lakh people from across India and abroad are expected to participate in the one-week 'Somayagam' (a vedic ritual) here for the first time in North Malabar region from February 13 to 19.
Speaking to mediapersons renowned vedic scholar Acharya M R Rajesh, founder of Kasyapa Vedic Research Foundation (KVRF), which is organising the ritual, said spiritual leader Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev, will inaugurate the vedic conference at the week-long ritual.
The session that follow in the subsequent days will feature spiritual and social leaders from across the religious spectrums from various parts of the country, he said.

Even as promotion of global peace and wellness form the key aim of the yaga, the mega event will showcase a series of seminars, cultural programmes and book fair, he said.
