Arson, communal tension spread to Jammu, Rajouri districts

Arson and communal tension spread to Jammu and Rajouri districts of Jammu and Kashmir late tonight after which curfew was imposed there as authorities braced to contain spread the fallout of violence in Kishtwar district.
There were no immediate reports of casualties in Jammu and Rajouri.
Attempts were made to set on fire two shops and two vehicles torched in New Plot area of Jammu district, Division Commissioner Shant Manu said.
Curfew was imposed in the entire Jammu district following the incidents, he said.
Communal tension ran high in Rajouri district and curfew was imposed as a precautionary measure, SSP, Rajouri, Mubassir Lattifee said.
