Rajesh Tacho, Wanglin Lowangdong and Thangwang Wangham were inducted yesterday to the council of ministers.
Governor Lt Gen (Retd) Nirbhay Sharma administered the oath and secrecy of office to them in a ceremony held in the Darbar Hall of the Raj Bhawan here in presence of Tuki, his cabinet colleagues, MLAs and senior civil and police officials.
Tuki also dropped Health and Family Welfare Minister Kalikho Pul from the cabinet.
While Tacho was allocted the portfolio of Health and Family Welfare, Lowangdong got the Women and Child Development, Social Justice and Employment, Parliamentary Affairs and the Department of Tirap, Changlang and Londing (DoTCL).
Tacho was the former UD and Housing minister, Lowangdong served as the Speaker of the state Assembly, while Wangham served as the Parliamentary Secretary for IPR and Printing.
Tacho represents Anini constituency in Dibang Valley district, Lowangdong is an MLA from the Borduria-Bogapani constituency in the troubled Tirap district and Wangham represents Longding-Pumao in Longding district.
This was the second expansion of the ten month-old Nabam Tuki ministry after May last when nine ministers were inducted including the new face, Takam Pario.
Tuki was sworn in as the eight Chief Minister of the state on May 18 last for the second consecutive term after the ruling Congress won 42 seats, including 11 uncontested, in the April 9 Assembly polls.
