In his message, the governor said today's children would keep the torch of our deeds and national aspirations glowing.
"This day also reminds every citizen, every parent and guardian that children deserves the best healthcare and education opportunities," he said.
He asked the society to offer equal opportunities to each and every child, irrespective of their background.
"On this day, I pray to Almighty to endow our children with the capability to take our nation forward on the path of progress and prosperity," the governor added.
