Arunachal Pradesh Rural Works Department (RWD) Minister Bamang Felix on Monday expressed concern over slow progress of road projects under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) across the state.
The minister was addressing the inaugural day of the two-day review meeting of the department, which began here on Monday, a state government release said.
Felix said he was "morally upset" at the "snail's pace" at which PMGSY road projects were being executed in Arunachal Pradesh.
He urged engineers and officials to plan better in order to restore and improve the progress of work.
The minister also assured of all possible assistance from his department for efficient execution of the PMGSY road projects.
