An official release said today that the defence ministry has selected Rikam Pada dance from Arunachal to perform in the cultural section in which only five teams are scheduled to participate.
Of the total five, four troupes are from the national capital region itself and only Rikam Pada has been selected from outside Delhi through the North East Cultural Centre (NEZCC), Dimapur.
The cultural team which includes 150 dancers and 12 teachers from various schools of Itanagar is led by chief choreographer Bengia Tabb, music in-charge Bamang Loram and assistant choreographers Joram Renia and Toko Rina.
