The stock soared 19.94 per cent to settle at Rs 16.60 -- its upper circuit limit on the BSE.
At the NSE, the scrip zoomed 19.93 per cent to Rs 16.55.
On the volume front, 10.76 lakh shares of the company changed hands at the BSE and over 27 lakh shares were traded at the NSE during the day.
Arvind Remedies informed BSE on Friday that a Board meeting on July 11, 2015 will consider a proposal for investment in the company by a potential investor, to make the unit viable.
In the broader market, the BSE Sensex ended at 28,208.76, up 115.97 points.
