Ashok Leyland Q1 Net loss narrows to Rs 48 cr

Hinduja Group flagship company Ashok Leyland today reported a net loss of Rs 47.95 crore for the first quarter ended June 30.
The company had posted a net loss of Rs 141.75 crore during the sam eperiod of previous fiscal.
Net sales of the company rose to Rs 2,434.61 crore for the first quarter, as against Rs 2,313.21 crore during the same period of previous fiscal, Ashok Leyland Ltd said in a filing to the BSE.
Ashok Leyland shares today closed at Rs 33.30 apiece on the BSE, down 2.49 per cent from the previous close.
