Ashok Leyland sales up 30.5% in January

Hinduja Group flagship firm Ashok Leyland today reported 30.47% increase in total sales at 13,886 units in January.

The company had sold 10,643 units in the same month last year.

The sales of medium and heavy commercial vehicles jumped 39.94% to 11,208 units in January as against 8,009 units in the same month a year ago, the company said in a statement.

Light commercial vehicles sales went up 1.67% to 2,678 units as against 2,634 units in January 2015.
